2024 sees Krogerus promoting three new talents to partnership
The appointment of Antti Luhtala, Ritva Aalto and Pessi Honkasalo to partners continues to strengthen our service offerings in M&A, Tax and Technology, Data & IP.
Antti's extensive experience in M&A, both from Finland and abroad, adds a great contribution to our M&A practice's roster with a particular focus on complex corporate, private equity and cross-border transactions. "I am excited to see my story with Krogerus continue as Partner, especially at a time when our M&A team's steadfast growth in both excellence and size is also recognised by the market", says Antti, referring to the team's recent Mergermarket Finland Legal Adviser of the Year 2023 award and the number one position of the firm in latest rankings. Ritva joins our Tax practice that has also seen steadily growing demand from the market. Ritva has over 15 years of experience in advising on corporate and international tax matters, covering structuring and complex transactional tax advisory work as well as high-end tax disputes. "I am very much looking forward to joining Krogerus' partnership and beginning collaboration with the talented Tax team. The team provides pragmatic and to-the-point advice despite the regulatory framework growing more complex by the day, and I am proud to join in committing to the same service delivery", says Ritva. Pessi rejoins our Technology, Data & IP practice with extensive experience in commercial contracts and outsourcing as well as in a wide range of technology-related assignments spanning from AI to data protection. Pessi also has a particular IPR focus on copyright protection of software and related rights. "Krogerus' dedication to practicing business law in a modern and meaningful way was a dealmaker to me.
