Krogerus appoints Simo Autio as head of the Competition & Regulatory practice group

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed Partner Simo Autio as head of the Competition & Regulatory practice group as of 1 May 2024.

"I look forward to heading our Competition & Regulatory practice and continuing to develop our offering. The field of competition law is constantly changing; digital tools are transforming companies' competition behaviour and the enforcement of competition law, while regulatory control over transactions is increasing both at the EU level and in Finland. Domestically, a major overhaul of public procurement law is in the works. These changes will keep us and our clients busy also going forward. Our market leading team will ensure that our clients stay up to date on all developments", says Simo.

Simo has experience in competition law spanning several decades. His broad range of expertise covers antitrust and merger control as well as public procurement and state aid. His areas of specialisation also include sector-specific legislation in various fields, such as pharmaceuticals.
