Krogerus receives Mergermarket's Legal Adviser of the Year Finland award
We received Mergermarket's Finland Legal Adviser of the Year award for the second year in a row. Mergermarket's awards recognise outstanding contributions to creative advisory work on complex M&A transactions. The winners were announced on 27 November 2024 at the Mergermarket European M&A Awards. Mergermarket is a leading provider of M&A data and intelligence.
During the past year, we have handled a broad range of highly complex transactions including landmark transactions in software and tech, as well as two of the market's three take-privates, including the first two MBO take-privates in Finland. We have, for example, advised:
- Silo AI's founders, Altor and other sellers on the USD 665,000,000 sale of Silo AI, Europe’s largest private AI lab, to AMD Inc.
- PSG on its growth investment in One Click LCA and its sale of e-invoicing and procurement solutions provider OpusCapita to GEP.
- Partech Growth on the majority recapitalization investment of M-Files, a leader in knowledge work automation.
- Portuguese retail-to-technology conglomerate Sonae on the takeover of Musti together with Musti's CEO and certain board members in Finland's first ever public MBO.
- Innofactor on its takeover by a consortium comprising CapMan Growth, Osprey and Innofactor's CEO.
