The Healthcare Law Review 2018, Finland Chapter
Kirsi Kannaste, Leena Lindberg and Terhi Kauti have written the Finland chapter on the healthcare legal framework in Finland for the second edition of The Healthcare Law Review, a publication of Law Business Research Ltd, 2018.
The publication identifies the broad characteristics of healthcare to be found in 17 jurisdictions. It considers the role of insurance or public payers, models of commissioning, the interplay (or lack of it) between primary, secondary and social care, and the regulatory and licensing arrangements for healthcare providers and professionals.
