Krogerus advises BlackRock on the acquisition of a large wind power portfolio

Krogerus advised BlackRock on the acquisition of a large-scale 218 MW wind power portfolio from Green Horizon Renewables and minority shareholders. The portfolio consists of one 19 MW operational wind farm and four ready-to-build development projects with a total capacity of 198 MW. Krogerus also advised on negotiating a long-term corporate PPA for the projects.

Construction of the projects have already begun and all sites are expected to be operational by Q4/2022 / Q1/2023. The sellers will manage the construction works under a construction management agreement and Nordex will supply the wind turbines.
