Krogerus advises Emballator on its acquisition of Europak

Krogerus advises Emballator, a leading packaging solutions provider, on its acquisition of Europak Oy. The Emballator Group offers a wide range of packaging solutions, with a variety of products in different materials, for market segments such as paint, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food, beauty and personal care. The Emballator Group has around 900 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK 2,500 million. Europak is serving customers in various industries like chemical and food, with blow-moulded plastic packaging, mainly canisters. The acquisition of Europak will strengthen Emballator's position as preferred packaging partner in most of all Finland and the Baltics.

The completion of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to occur on 1 September 2023.
