Krogerus advises Helsinki Deaconess Institute and LocalTapiola on the merger of Diacor and Terveystalo
Krogerus advised Helsinki Deaconess Institute Foundation sr, LocalTapiola Mutual Life Insurance Company and LocalTapiola General Mutual Insurance Company on the merger of Diacor terveyspalvelut Oy and Suomen Terveystalo Oy. As a result of the merger, the Helsinki Deaconess Institute Foundation will become a major shareholder of Terveystalo, the largest healthcare provider in Finland.
The merger will reinforce Terveystalo's national growth strategy and increase its Finnish ownership. As part of the transaction, LocalTapiola General Mutual Insurance Company and LocalTapiola Mutual Life Insurance Company sold all of their shares in Diacor terveyspalvelut to Terveystalo.
