Krogerus advises Lundin Petroleum on its acquisition of Metsälamminkangas wind farm
Krogerus advised Lundin Petroleum, an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Sweden, on its acquisition of the Metsälamminkangas wind farm from OX2, a Swedish wind power developer. The construction of the project will commence in the near future and the wind farm will be powered by 24 GE wind turbines with an aggregate capacity of 132MW. When completed the Metsälamminkangas project will be one of the largest wind farms in Finland. Lundin Petroleum will use the output from the wind farm to power its offshore oil and gas production in Norway.
Krogerus team, led by partner Sami Laine, includes partner elect Samu Lassila, counsel Essi Launonen and associates Jenni Teurokoski, Vilma Piipponen, Andreas Brink and Timo Rautiainen.
