Krogerus advises Northern Horizon on the exit of a care home fund in a EUR 141 million deal
Northern Horizon Capital has disposed of its Healthcare II fund to a fund managed by Evli in a transaction valuing the fund’s 30-asset Finnish portfolio at EUR 140.8 million.
Krogerus advised Northern Horizon Capital on all aspects of the transaction. The Krogerus team was led by partner Ville Hailikari. He was mainly assisted by partner elect Pyry Somervuori and associate Anna Metso. Partner Antti Lehtimaja and senior associate Sanna Lindqvist advised on tax matters.
"Krogerus has successfully acted for us on this EUR 141 million exit of our second fund and the 2016 exit of our first fund for EUR 155 million. These are the two largest healthcare property exits on the Finnish market to date. Krogerus' team provides a unique combination of high value strategic advice and outstanding willingness to do the heavy lifting required to complete such large transactions. I am also very happy to see Krogerus talent Pyry Somervuori being now promoted to the firm's partnership. Pyry has been a key strategic adviser on the transactional aspects of our two successful exits", says Jussi Rouhento, Head of Finland at Northern Horizon.
