Krogerus advises RELEX Solutions on its acquisition of Formulate

Krogerus advised Retails Logistics Excellence - RELEX Oy, a Finland-based software company that automates and optimizes supply chain, merchandising, and operational decisions for retailers and consumer packaged goods companies, on its acquisition of Formulate AB, a Swedish company engaged in promotion planning and analytics. The acquisition by Relex comes on the heels of a EUR 500 million funding round led by funds managed by Blackstone Growth (BXG) – the largest growth funding round ever raised by a Finnish growth company to date. The acquisition will strengthen the Relex supply chain and retail platform and allow the Formulate software to reach a more extensive global network of customers.

The Krogerus team was led by Partner Mika Ståhlberg and he was assisted by Senior Associate Antti Luhtala and Associate Ari Natunen. Partner Samu Lassila advised on the tax aspects of the acquisition.
