Krogerus advises Sponsor Capital on combination of Tarkkala and Konne Group

Krogerus advised Sponsor Capital on a transaction which will combine Tarkkala and Konne Group, and simultaneously Sponsor Capital will become a shareholder in the new entity and support its future growth. The new company will be a leading player in the logistics of by-products from the forest industry in Finland. Its services include, among others, the transportation of forest industry by-products, internal logistics at industrial sites, and chipping services.

Tarkkala and Konne Group are long-standing family businesses that have achieved strong growth through both organic expansion and acquisitions. The merger creates a unique entity with a workforce of more than 300 employees across Finland. Key personnel from both Tarkkala and Konne Group will continue as significant shareholders following the transaction. Completion of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval from competition authorities.
