Krogerus advises Talon Tekniikka and stakeholders on the divestment of majority of shares to YIT
Krogerus advised Projektipalvelu Talon Tekniikka Oy and its stakeholders on the divestment of majority of shares to YIT, a development and construction company for housing, business premises, infrastructure and entire areas.
Talon Tekniikka specialises in apartment building pipe renovations and renovation contracting and is one of the leading housing company renovation constructors in the Finnish capital region. In 2017, Talon Tekniikka’s revenue will be approximately EUR 35 million and it has 75 employees. The acquisition forms a majority-owned subsidiary of YIT in which YIT’s housing company renovation in the Finnish capital region will be focused on.
The acquisition will be implemented during the first quarter of 2018. As part of the acquisition, YIT has committed to redeem the company’s entire share capital gradually over the following years and Talon Tekniikka's operative management will continue as a shareholder in the company until YIT’s redemption.
