Krogerus advises the Cities of Helsinki and Lahti in public private partnerships
Krogerus advised the City of Helsinki, Finland's capital, and the City of Lahti, a major regional centre, in establishing three new public private partnerships. The projects consist of the construction of the Helsinki Upper Secondary School for Languages and the Puotila Primary School in Helsinki as well as the Renkomäki Community Centre in Lahti. Each project also covers the maintenance of the building for 20 years under a service agreement. The combined value of the contracts is approximately EUR 100 million.
Our mandates consisted of drafting the service agreements as well as providing contractual and public procurement law advice.
Partner Juha Wessman led the Krogerus team. Counsel Teppo Vuorela and Associate Antti Markkanen handled contractual matters, while Counsel Simo Autio and Senior Associate Minna Siekkinen advised on public procurement law.
