
Krogerus advises Trevian Kasvu LP on its acquisition of Helsinki Halli
Krogerus advised Trevian Kasvu LP Ky on its acquisition of all class C shares in Helsinki Halli Oy. The company is the owner of Finland's largest multi-functional indoor arena and the transaction has transferred the arena back to Finnish ownership.
The parties of the transaction entered into a binding agreement on the acquisition of Helsinki Halli in November 2024, and the transaction required approval from authorities. On 16 December 2024, the EU amended its Russia sanctions to include a derogation which made it possible for national competent authorities to grant an exemption for the transaction. The Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Enforcement Authority Finland authorised the sale on 6 and 7 February 2025 respectively.
