Krogerus advises Visual Components on its acquisition of Delfoi Robotics

Krogerus advised Visual Components Oy, a developer of 3D manufacturing simulation software and solutions and a Finnish subsidiary of KUKA Aktiengesellschaft, a German manufacturer of industrial robots and systems for factory automation, on the acquisition of the robot offline programming business of Delfoi Oy. As a part of the transaction, the target business was spun off to Delfoi Robotics Oy through a partial demerger. As a result of the acquisition, Visual Components Oy will be able to widen its product offering to an all-in-one solution with advanced features.

At KUKA Aktiengesellschaft, Rolf Pollner from Corporate Development / M&A together with Associate General Counsel Florian Dorow led the transaction. The Krogerus team was led by Partner Marcus Möller and Senior Advisor Lennart Simonsen. Marcus and Lennart were primarily assisted by Senior Associate Antti Luhtala and Associate Kaarle Kivimäki.
